"Agenda: Iran" The Washington Institute's recently produced 45 page pdf report on a theoretical military attack on Iran authored by Patrick Clawson and Michael Eisenstadt, entitled ‘The Last Resort: Consequences of Preventive Military Action Against Iran’ - is quite the hook.

It would seem that Israel's latest military maneuvers in the Mediterranean have spawned a tempest of debate among the right and fueled rumors of a strategic timetable for Israel to act before the US presidential election - which could set an Obama administration off on talks with Syria and Iran. That would definitely close their "window of opportunity".
